This is the UK's largest independent exhibition of fireworks with displays staged by four major companies. 2003 participants include Fireking (Vulcan), Sandling Fireworks, Alan Hillary Events, Jubilee Fireworks

|Edinburgh Festival Fireworks||Annual event usually held on a Saturday evening in late August/early September. Princes Street gardens is reserved for ticket holders only - usually available in May. EIF usually hold back 1000 tickets for release just before the event however be prepared to queue from about 5am to get hold of them! Can also be viewed from Princes Street and Inverleith park.|
|Edinburgh's Hogmanay||Hogmanay in Edinburgh is huge with events for many days leading up to New Years Eve when access to the city centre is restricted to holders of wrist-bands. See the website for further details.|
|The Edinburgh Military Tattoo||The tattoo runs every year throughout August and is one of the "must see" attractions for visitors to the historic capital City of Edinburgh during the festival.
